Remote Learning

All NYC schools and teachers will be moving to remote learning which will begin on Monday, March 23rd.  This means that students will engage in online learning provided by their teachers.  While the delivery of the instruction is changing, our high expectations for our students will not change. 


HCMS will be using Google Classroom to deliver instruction to all students.  Students will be required to log in to their Google Account every day between 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM. First, students will confirm their attendance on the HCMS Home Page.  Here, they can also find any daily announcements.


Second, students are responsible for accessing each of their content areas.  Teachers will be checking attendance daily in each of their classes.  Students are responsible for completing work in their classes by 2:00.  Sample grade-level schedules are available to guide students to organize their time during the day effectively.
